Earl F. Murphy, Jr "Butch Sr." 1944-2020
Butch Sr. started working exclusively on Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars since 1970. This included working at the Rolls-Royce Dealer, factory training, independent Rolls-Royce repair facility, and opening EF Murphy Inc on September 01, 1984. Mr. Murphy was married over 50 years, has two children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Butch Sr. enjoyed his life long passion and sharing his knowledge and experience to his son and grandson for future generations. Earl F. Murphy, III "Butch Jr."
His experience working around Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars started long before the opening of E.F. Murphy Inc. His dad would bring him into work with him during summer vacations from school and he would sweep floors, clean parts, etc. Once graduating high school he moved up to full time and attended Ohio University full time. Mr. Murphy married his wife in 1994 and have two children. In addition to working in the shop, he gives national seminars covering models from the 1920s through the 1990s.
Andrew Murphy
Andrew has always grown up being around the shop and officially joined the team upon graduating high school. Apprenticing directly under his grandfather, he learned first hand knowledge and most importantly how to be your own quality control person. Outside the shop, he enjoys golfing, league bowling, cooking, and collecting memorabilia.
Mary Murphy
Mary has been part of the shop since marrying Butch Jr in 1994. Officially joining the team in 2012, she runs the office as well as helping the guys in the shop when needed. In addition to working at the shop, she spends time ushering at The Ohio State University football games and other special events.
